Jenny Urquhart

Bristol-based artist Jenny Urquhart paintings are usually bold and contemporary and reflect her life-long love affair with the coastline of England, particularly in the South West. Largely working from memory, she experiments with acrylic, collage, ink and digital mediums to create contemporary and colourful images of her favourite places!

Jenny also adores her hometown of Bristol and her signature cityscapes, featuring hot-air balloons and the Suspension Bridge, are a familiar sight in Bristol.

Jenny used to be a biology teacher, since becoming a full time artist her work has appeared in the RWA, increasing numbers of South West galleries, Selfridges in London and national media.
