If you require the best fine art giclee prints to be made from your original artwork you will need to turn your original into a digital file. We can create a very high quality digital file from your artwork, for small artworks up to A3 we use a high end flat bed scanner and for very large artworks we use a large format studio camera.
Digitising Your Artwork
Our premium art copy service offers you the complete package:
- Copying your artwork and making a digital file
- Making calibrated adjustments to the digital image file so that we closely match your original
- Producing two proof prints on the fine art media of your choice, for your approval.
One proof print is a scaled down version of the whole composition so that you can check the overall colour. The other proof print is a section of your image printed at 100% of the desired print size so that you can inspect the detail.

Price for Scanning your Artwork with Proof Prints
Small Artwork - Scanning from flat artwork (not mounted or framed) up to a maximum size of 297mm x 420mm, adjusting the scanned digital file to closely match your original artwork and a set of two proof prints on the fine art media of your choice = £50.00
Large Artwork - Scanning from artwork that is larger than 297mm x 420mm and up to a maximum size of 1220mm x 920mm, adjusting the scanned digital file to closely match your original artwork and a set of two proof prints on the fine art media of your choice = £200.00
Shipping Your Artwork to Redcliffe
Shipping any sort of artwork can be a problem as large items are priced using a complicated system based on size and weight. More of a problem still is shipping framed glazed artwork. Follow our guide on how to ship your artwork safely.
If you are concerned about shipping your original work to us, then consider having it scanned locally. Most professional photographers with a large format camera are able to shoot a digital file that includes colour and grey control strips with the image.
